Striker Paul Turner has committed his future to Longridge, signing a two year contract at the Club last night.

I’m obviously delighted, and very proud, that the Club have seen fit to make me a contracted player.
- Paul Turner

The forward spoke of his pride upon signing a two year deal, and credits the manager in helping him develop his game:

"I’m obviously delighted, and very proud, that the Club have seen fit to make me a contracted player.

"I’m still learning the game but feel I’m getting better every week, playing with experienced players up front.

"The Manager has been fantastic with me and has taught me that the smallest little things can make a big difference to my game.

"I’m just enjoying being here to be honest, things are going well on the pitch, it’s a great bunch of lads, and the Club is very ambitious.

"It feels brilliant to be a part of it."

Manager Lee Ashcroft echoed Paul’s thoughts:

"We’ve talked about rewarding Paul for his performances for a while, and I’m pleased that he’s going to be with us for at least two more years.

"He has a lot of potential, and played through the junior teams here, so where better for him to play his football?!

"He'll benefit from playing with Richie (Allen) and Jay (Hart), lads who have played up front at a higher level, and he’s a young lad who’s eager to learn. I’m delighted for him."
