"As many of you will have seen on Social Media I was elected Chairman of Longridge Town Football Club recently. It was an extreme honour to have been asked if I would stand and then to be elected unopposed was an even greater honour.

As we have no home game before Christmas I would like to wish everyone Season’s Greetings and hope you have a good Christmas and I look forward to seeing you here for the Boxing Day game against Padiham.

Moving forward I want to hear from supporters on how we can improve the Club, the Club does not belong to the Committee it belongs to the Community and we are here to listen to your ideas.

As we move towards 2025 I would love to see a packed out Inglewhite Road again, the more money we take on the turnstile and behind the bar the more we can give to Ashy.

I would also like to send my thanks to members of the Longridge Town committee who have all been fantastic, especially our very own secretary Lorraine who frankly, we couldn't live without!

We have some exciting events ahead, on Sunday 28th December A.J. Walker (Pants) will be preforming in the Bull and Royal at 7pm. You can get your tickets from Lorraine Harrison or pop into the Bull and Royal, tickets are priced at £10.00. On Friday the 21st March we will be holding a Sportsman Dinner and more details will become available in the New Year.

If you are looking for a late Christmas Gift we have some fantastic new merchandise available on sale in the club house.

Remember you will see me walking around the ground selling 'Pound for the Ground', please come and say hello and you never know I might buy you a pint.
