LTFC face festive double header

LTFC face festive double header

Connor Philipson22 Dec 2024 - 15:00

Two massive ties at Inglewhite Road

Ashcroft's young reds are to play hosts over the festive period in two huge home games.

Town look enter 2025 on good form, having somewhat struggled in the second half of the season.

However, there is still plenty to be positive about with the new signings of Kier Barry and Finley Devenney adding some much needed defensive reinforcements.

Attacker Joe Adams is also making good progress in his return from injury.

The former Brentford and Dundalk man was on the bench on Saturday.

Just as the rest of the boys they'll be put to the test on both Boxing Day and the 28th of December.

On the 26th we host Padiham with the Storks currently chasing the play-offs.

We then move onto the 28th to take on Irlam who are also not too far off the top 5 themselves.

Both will prove a huge test for the Ridge but with your brilliant support there's no reason we can't kick off our season's comeback.

Prices and ticket offers are below:

12-18: £2

Half season tickets:

Chairman Lee Jameson gave us his thoughts on the upcoming holidays and fixtures:

"As we have no home game before Christmas I would like to wish everyone Season’s Greetings and hope you have a good Christmas and I look forward to seeing you here for the Boxing Day game against Padiham."

Moving forward I want to hear from supporters on how we can improve the Club, the Club does not belong to the Committee it belongs to the Community and we are here to listen to your ideas.

As we move towards 2025 I would love to see a packed out Inglewhite Road again, the more money we take on the turnstile and behind the bar the more we can give to Ashy.

Remember you will see me walking around the ground selling 'Pound for the Ground', please come and say hello and you never know I might buy you a pint.

See you all on Boxing Day".
