Town suffered a strong setback on Saturday against a determined West Didsbury & Chorlton side.
However it's not panic stations, with two games in hand over the top two and only five points off them, a win on Tuesday would be a good start in getting our form back on track.
The Opposition
Town have a good record at the Silentnight Stadium, with two 4-2 wins there in the past two seasons.
However, Barlick have given Town a bit of grief at Inglewhite Road so there's no doubting their quality.
Especially not of attacker Gareth Hill, who bagged twice against Town last season and loves a goal in general with five so far this season.
They've also got young attacker Will Procter, who leads their goalscoring charts with a solid seven.
Player/coach Chris Humphrey could also make an appearance, the former Preston North End and Jamaica winger has made 3 appearances for Barlick this season, having joined Steve Pickup's coaching staff in the summer.
Barnoldswick sit 10th in the table but are one of the form sides in the division, with five wins in their past six games, including a 1-0 win over Northern Premier League side Lancaster City in the FA Cup first qualifying round.

Team news
NWCFL goalkeeper of the month for July/August Jordan Gidley is looking to be back in training sooner rather than later
However the trip to his old side will come a bit too soon.
It's also a return to the old stomping ground for Town vice captain Ryan McLean, as Longridge signed the left back from Barlick in the summer of 2023.
Following Tuesday, The Ridge return home on Saturday 14th September when they face newly promoted South Liverpool, before facing Merseyside counterparts AFC Liverpool on Tuesday 17th.
