Despite being win-less in the past 12 league games, some of the performances haven't deserved it.

The cup competition games of recent have been Town's saving grace in keeping the positivity, however all it takes is one to get us back on track.

The challenge posed this weekend won't be an easy one but we hope you'll join us and help back the boys to get back to winning ways.

Games between the two have made for some crackers in the past, we expect Saturday to be no different.

At Saturday's game, NHS staff be providing CPR training to spectators willing.

Increasing public awareness of cardiac arrests and the number of people trained in lifesaving CPR could save thousands of lives every year.

If you are attending the game please come and say hi to the team and equip yourself with these vital life saving skills.

The Opposition

Barnoldswick Town sit 12th in the table following a fantastic start to the season.

Steve Pickup's side won many points at the start of the season, including a 2-1 win over Town at the Silentnight Stadium in the reverse fixture.

Striker Gareth Hill is the obvious choice for one to watch but fellow attacker William Proctor has caught this admin's eye.

He bagged the winner against Town in September and has scored 11 goals so far, with an FA Cup hat-trick against Northwich Victoria among them.

Barlick's other Hill, Andrew, saw red in that game against Town but has a strong game in midfielder otherwise.

Goalkeeper Callum Jakovlevs is also crucial for Barlick, having played every game so far this season.

The squad has quality, including that of ex Town players Jnai Butterfield-Steede and Ethan Gough.

Team News

Midfielder Harvey Roberts has joined West Didsbury and Chorlton.

We wish him all the very best for the future.

It was debuts for new boys Jordao Da Costa, Basit Yusuff and Bury loanee Papis Touray Touray.

The latter even earned an assist following his great cross into Liam Atkinson for Town's opener on Saturday.

Unfortunately, Town's injury list remains strong.

It now includes first teamers Jordan Gidley, Ben Trafford, Ben Fletcher, Tom McCann and Matt Van Wyk.

Ashcroft's men will grim, bear and continue to battle.
