Supporter Information
As mentioned you can buy tickets online ahead of the match or pay on the gate.
Around the stadium there is street parking available. Please check road signs as some of the streets are residents only and need a permit. Please make sure you park respectfully.
There are also some local car parks not far from the ground that can be used. These are all independent of the club, and charges will apply.
These car parks include Trinity Street Car Park, Q Park Knowsley Place, Bury Market Car Park. None are further than 1.3m from the ground.
We advise fans not to be offended if they are asked for proof of age.
Above all, behave respectfully and show your support to the Longridge Town boys.
Opposition
As previously mentioned this is Bury FC. So Longridge have never faced them, nor played at Gigg Lane. This will make Saturday a big occasion for the Town to represent themselves at a 11,800 seater ground and to play infront of a large crowd.
The Shakers themselves sit 2nd after starting the season like a house on fire with a 5-1 win over Glossop on the first day in front of a record breaking crowd of 5,500. Their most recent result was a 1-1 draw away to Wythenshawe FC on Tuesday night.
The squad is full of top quality players but to pin one as one to watch, we would look no further than attacking midfielder Benito Lowe.
Signed from Wythenshawe Town in the summer, Lowe has scored 6 goals in 5 appearances for Bury including a 96th minute winner against West Didsbury & Chorlton on Saturday 2nd September.
Team News
Whilst striker Dean Ing does not yet have a date outlined for his return (though it won't be far off now) Ryan McLean is looking at roughly just two weeks longer.
However there is positive news as Dean Ing, Ben Fletcher, Paul Turner and Ryan McLean are all back running now, giving Ashey some small steps to work with.
