Longridge taken on lowly but in-form Glossop North End as Ashcroft's young guns look to return to winning ways.

Thankfully, we return home next weekend.

A reminder that if you bought a Bury ticket then you can gain free entry to that game

The Opposition

Since suffering relegation to the North West Counties two seasons ago, Longridge are yet to beat Glossop North End.

Glossop got off to a tough start this year, winning just two out of their first ten matches.

However recently they've seemingly turned things around, enjoying a 5-1 win over Squires Gate and coming from behind against high-flying Bury to draw 2-2 at Gigg Lane.

The departure of top scorer Lewis Reilly to Bootle seems to have had little effect either, with their main source of goals now coming from Tom Lawless.

However the signing of Elijah Fisher has bolstered their front line, with the attacker scoring in both the games he's played so far.

With those big results coming in, Richard Brodie's men will now be looking to extend their run to 8 wins out of their last 10.

Team News

Town have slipped down the table a little following their tough run, but the task remains the same.

The Ridge are still the only Premier Division side yet to draw a game this season.

Following Saturday, Town have now been awarded six penalties this season, the most of any side in the Premier Division.

Sadly we have only managed to convert two of them.

Following a stat check, Ryan McLean, Luke Smith and Leighton Hewitt remain the ever present for Town this season, playing a part in all 20 matches

After this weekend's awayday, Town return home as we host FC Isle of Man.

With this week ahead warning, get yourselves down and pack the place out again.

The boys need your back if they're get back on a winning run.

Adults are priced at £7, concessions at £5, 12-18 at £2 and under 11s get in free.

However, if you bought a ticket for the Bury fixture last Saturday, you can gain completely free entry.
