The Ridge have licked their wounds from the weekend and are ready to bounce back against Padiham in tonight's second round Macron cup game.

Town are yet to face Padiham this season.

They've not got the best record against the Storks over the last few years.

No doubt that tonight will be another tough test with Padiham now finding form.

We recommend wrapping up warm if you are joining us tonight.

The Opposition

Managed by former Town midfielder Michael Morrison, Padiham have been a real force in the NWCFL over the past few years.

Striker Joel Brownhill has been no small part of that.

Brother of Burnley captain and midfielder Josh, Joel's goal record in the Premier Division is not one to be sniffed at.

He's scored 8 so far this season, however Tyler James leads their goalscoring charts with 14.

Winger Jakub Hebda has 12, his incredible thumping 25 yard free kick against Town last season shows his quality.

The last Town side to manage a win over Morrison's men was in 2019, with a 2-1 win in the Premier Division.

After a tough start they're now starting to make a push on the play-offs after a stunning season last year when they were only knocked out in the semi finals of the play-offs against eventually promoted Wythenshawe Town.
