Wednesday brings the visit of Squires Gate, in Preston-Blackpool clash.

This will be Longridge's home game for the 23/24 season.

The Opposition

Squires Gate will be looking to complete a rare double over Longridge. following their victory over Town on boxing day at The Brian Addison Stadium.

Town know all too well about many members of the Gate squad, with striker Dean Ing beginning to find his feet with 6 goals in his last five matches.

However, midfielders Nathan Cliffe and James Boyd have been impressing recently and have caused issues for Town in the past.

Either way, with both sides looking to end a rollercoaster of a season on a high, Tuesday has the making for a classic.

Team News

Goalkeeper Will Kitchen has returned to the side following his suspension.

On a more positive note, full back duo Mitch Marshall and Ryan McLean have committed themselves to Town for the next two seasons.

Ashey was full of praise for the two lads "It’s a testament to the lads who’ve shown great loyalty to the Club, having each had opportunities to move to a higher level of football during the season. I love that, and it shows the supporters, and hard working volunteers, that we must be doing something right if players as good as these two are enjoying their football here and appreciate all the off field efforts of everyone.”
