Longridge look to put their focus back on league football.

To get back to winning ways though, they'll have to get past Stockport who, with a summer promotion under their belts have started well.

The Opposistion

For away supporters, the best two footballing pubs in Longridge that also happen to be in close proximity to the ground are Wilfrid's Club and The Towneley arms.

Wilfrid's are kindly offering member prices for Stockport supporters on matchday before and after the game.

Also, we are very dog friendly at the ground.

As for the side, Stockport have scored just 36 goals this season, meaning goalscorers are fairly spread.

Attacker Daniel Lewis is their top scorer with 7, having bagged five of those in the first four matches of the season.

Striker Daniel McLoughlin fired the Lions to promotion last season but moved to Cheadle in the summer. However, he has since returned to Stockport in September and scored 3 goals since.

However, their key player so far this season has been Markell Foulds.

The midfielder has played in ever game this season and earned six man of the match awards, the most in their squad.
