Following the success and enjoyment of the 2023 George Melling Tournament, we are excited to confirm a second edition.

We would like to once again commemorate George with a second tournament.

George will never be forgotten by everyone at Longridge Town, we hope to see as many people on that weekend as possible to help up remember George and every other sufferer of MND.

Six clubs will come together on the weekend of the 6th June for a two day stint at the Recycling Lives Ground for the 2024 George Melling Tournament.

The clubs who will compete for the trophy are: Longridge Town, Bamber Bridge, Clitheroe, Workington AFC, Fulwood Amateurs and Coppull United, George's hometown team.

Fixtures are to be finalised and announced shortly.

Once again we hope to provide some brilliant entertainment whilst raising money for a fantastic cause with all profits from the tournament going to the MND Association.
