The former Southport midfielder made his debut for Longridge in October 2022 in a goal crazy cup tie away at Kendal Town, which Town won 4-3. Homson-Smith managed 7 goals in 27 games, the first of which came in a 1-0 win away at Ashton Athletic where he scored a delightful lob from just outside the box.

He won the September 2023 goal of the month award for his strike in a 4-1 win at Burscough. The attacking midfielder had an outstanding 2023/24 season in which he achieved 12 goals and 17 assists.

After earning a move to fellow Premier Division side Bury, he spent the start of the season out with injury before rejoining the Ridge on a short-term loan.
